      Advanced use of Photoshop is a crucial skill for many, as editing images using more advanced tools is more and more necessary. 

      Goal 

      Learn how to use the more advanced tools of Photoshop, such as Paths, Placeholders, Shapes and Patterns. You’ll also learn how to combine images to panoramic images or merge them together for HDR. 

      Target audience 

      Anyone who wants to learn how to use Photoshop, no earlier knowledge required. We suggest starting from Photoshop 1-4. 

      Program version

      This training is suitable for users with Photoshop CC (Creative Cloud) on Windows or Mac.

      Advanced tool use 

      • Create patterns from your images to paint with 
      • Placeholders 
      • Erase content with the Magic Eraser 
      • Add shapes, edit them as pixels or vectors 

      Advanced Undo 

      • Undo using the History Palette 
      • Open the current state of the image as a new image

      • How to create paths with Path tools or selections or text to path 
      • Edit and correct paths 
      • Using paths: Fill path, text to follow path
